The index is designed to provide exposure to a systematically selected, rules-based portfolio ofU. S. large-cap equities, with the capacity to adjust allocations between equities and cash (or cash equivalents) to capture upside potential while mitigating downside risk.
Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in securities comprising the index.
The fund is non-diversified.
